The events will take place in April and May 2017 in all districts in the country. More than 350 of implemented and ongoing EU funded projects will open their doors for visitors. The participants in the Open EU project days will have the opportunity to learn more about the EU funds in Bulgaria and their positive impact on the development of our regions, to share knowledge and experience. 

The events are integral part of the National information campaign ”United for Europe” of the Network of 28 information points for promotion of ESIF. The planned activities in Bulgaria have a special focus on the 10^thanniversary of the Bulgarian membership in the EU as well as the 60^th anniversary of the European Social Fund and 6^th anniversary of the Network of 28 Info points for ESIF.

On May 12, the District information points in Sofia, Vidin, Ruse, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas will hold simultaneous public events dedicated to the 60^th anniversary of the ESF. Numerous successful project examples financed under the three ESF funded programmes (OP “Good governance”, OP “Human resources development”, OP “Science and education for smart growth”) will be presented to the general public.
