TCI has chosen Sofia, Bulgaria as the location and host for its European Conference in 2018. As a Regional Conference of TCI, it will support the reinforcement of TCI in Europe by promoting closer ties among cluster practitioners in the region as well as by facilitating an open exchange of experiences, results and methodologies.
Teodora Jilkova, from the organising team says "2018 is a very important year for Bulgaria, having the EU Council Presidency from 1st Jan to 31st Jun 2018. The Presidency mandate will provide Bulgaria with the opportunity to put some of its strategic priorities into the center of the political agenda of the Union. Being chosen as the host destination for the TCI European Conference in 2018, it is an excellent opportunity for the country, regions and overall business society to showcase their strategic vision for the development of its priority sectors – energy, bio-agriculture, tourism, IT and cultural industries.Together with highly engaged partners, the organising team has been forming an alliance to develop the content and the final programme of the TCI European Conference 2018.The organising team is welcoming institutional, regional development agencies and local authorities on board.
