The Executive Director of IBA Stamen Yanev visited the Bulgarian stand at the International Specialized Exhibition of tourism, leisure and hotels in Moldova

The Executive Director of InvestBulgaria Agency Mr. Stamen Yanev is a two-day visit to Moldova together with the Deputy Minister of Economy Daniela Vezieva. During their visit they met with the Deputy Minister of Economy of Moldova Mr. Vitalie Yurku and the governor of Taraclia area where over 60% of the population is with ethnic Bulgarian origin, preserving and developing Bulgarian traditions and culture. They discussed potential investments in the region, as well as interest in the textile industry and the possibility of creating a clothing factory and manufacture of electrical equipment and furniture.

The largest Bulgarian export to Moldova is in petroleum products (35.8%), medicines (9.2%), plastic fibers (7.7%), glass containers (4.3%) and surfactants (2.6 %). Imports from Moldova was formed from petroleum oils (24.7%), counters for liquids, gases and electricity (21.2), sunflower seeds (12.2).
