The "Plana Heights" Project in Bloomberg
The "Plana Heights" project's idea is to build a new city with modern infrastructure. The investment is expected to reach 400-600 mln. Euros at the end of the project. This was commented by Avinoam Katrieli, President of the Binational Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria-Israel and Emil Magrisso, General Secretary and Manager of the project "Plana Heights" in Investbook broadcasted on Bloomberg TV Bulgaria.
Regarding the rights to build, Mr Katrieli and Mr. Magrisso commented that despite the bureaucracy they had received support from the Government. The mayor of Samokov and the Chief Architect of the municipality also gave strong support for the project, realizing its importance. "Plana Heights" aims to attract more investments in Bulgaria and to create new jobs.
Mr Avinoam Katrieli also discussed the results of the regular annual survey of Transparency International, according to which Bulgaria retains its ranking from previous year, remaining the most corrupt country in the EU. "In every country in the World there is corruption. I still think that if someone wants to do business, the corruption can be avoided. "
The signing of the Agreement between the Binational Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria-Israel and the Bulgarian Investment Agency is a clear sign of cooperation between Israel and Bulgaria, which can provide a basis for developing closer trade relations and increasing bilateral investments.
