I Love BG and BCCBI are proud to support Nestia Art-Folk Center which celebrated its 25th anniversary last Friday 9.12.2016. Emil Magrisso, General Manager of I Love BG Foundation and Secretary General of BCCBI congratulated Mr. Stankov - the founder of Nestia Center and all the participants on behalf of Mr. Avinoam Katrieli, President of I Love BG and BCCBI. We should respect the choice of those who put effort to keep and develop the Bulgarian spirit! During an interview for Evrokom TV Mr. Magrisso underlined that the youngest participants have so many other option for their spare time and the fact that they choose to embrace the Bulgarian Folklor Art is amazing and should make us all proud.

Mr. Avinoam Katrieli, President of the Binational Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria-Israel held a lecture on Israel Homeland Security in the university of UNIBIT. The lecture is a part of series of lectures held in different universities. Mr. Avinoam Katrieli was invited to UNIBIT by the Rector of the University - Prof. Denchev, who introduced him as a close friend of Bulgaria.

BCCBI And Foundation "I Love BG" Organized Presents For Traffic Policemen From The Children Of Bulgaria

 

BCCBI and Foundation "I Love BG" organized presents for Traffic Policemen from the children of Bulgaria as a pilot project for a future national campaign. The students from 120th and 85th Schools in Sofia had guest lectures from traffic policemen who explained the rules for safety on the road for pedestrians and drivers.

Afterwards the children filled hundreds of bags with personal letters to the policemen with messages of gratefulness. Mrs Fandakova, the Mayor of Sofia came to congratulate the initiative on official ceremony that was held in 120th School - "G.S.Rakovski". Mr Avinoam Katrieli, the President of BCCBI congratulated the kids for their dedication and reminded that our true heroes are the policemen.

Comissioner Tenev - director of Traffic Police in Sofia attended the ceremony with a full delegation of policemen that impressed the children very much. Mr Tenev could not hide his emotions and gratefullness for the amazing presents and letters received from the kids. The event was organized with the support of ANZEKA GROUP - members of BCCBI, the Automotive Cluster, the Municipality of Sofia and Traffic Police of Sofia.

OJB "Shalom" with the support of BCCBI organized a charity dinner

 

OJB "Shalom" with the support of The Binational Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria Israel organized a charity dinner for the benefit of the needy in the community and the Bulgarian society. The Annual charity gala dinner, organized by OJB "Shalom" in support of various programs and causes of the organization in favor of the Bulgarian Jewish community and the Bulgarian society, took place in Grand Hotel Sofia. H.E Eric Seth Rubin, Ambassador of the USA in Bulgaria was Keynote speaker. Members of BCCBI supported the event with donations and some of them took part in the event itself.

On 29/06/2016 g / Wednesday / at 12.00. In front of the Bulgarian Red Cross Chairman Hristo Grigorov organization awarded Ms. Yordanka Fandakova, Mayor of Sofia, the keys to specialized medical ambulance.

The ambulance was donated to the Red Cross by the Red Shield of David of Israel (Magen David Adom) and the Binational Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria - Israel.
The specialized medical vehicle is provided for healthcare in Sofia's Municipal Hospital II and will significantly improve medical services to residents of the municipality.

On the ceremony of the donation attended the president of the Binational Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria - Israel, Mr Avinoam Katrieli and the General Secretary of the Chamber, Emil Magrisso as well as other representatives of Sofia Municipality including Deputy Mayor of Sofia, Mr. Barbalov, responsible for the Municipality's Healthcare.
