Software Group will open 200 new jobs in Bulgaria by 2021, the company said today. The company founded in Bulgaria operates on six continents and with over 150 clients in 70 countries. At present, the number of its employees exceeds 350. The expansion will be funded with the first EIB investment loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) amounting to € 18 million.
"We are proud to be the first company in Bulgaria that has successfully passed the EIB's investment loan procedure.The funding will support the ambitious growth targets we have as well as our business plan over the next three years.We plan to increase investment in innovation , attracting talent, and entering new business areas, "said Kalin Radev, founder and CEO of Software Group.
The funds will be invested in two main areas - R & D and Innovation, Business Development and Marketing. In the next three years, the company will focus on the development of new technologies, platforms and products in the fields of insurance, factoring and the Internet of Things (IoT). It also plans to implement strategic partnerships with other technology companies and consultancy organizations.
The new positions will be related to the development of innovative products and solutions that expand the portfolio of the company. Basic profiles will include software architects, engineers and developers, Quality Assurance, technical support engineers, business analysts, and IT project managers. Software Group was founded in 2009 and its headquarters are located in Sofia and the other offices are based in Australia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Kenya, Mexico, the United States and the Philippines. Its core business is related to the development of innovative software products that facilitate access to financial services as well as to improve the efficiency of financial institutions themselves. Among the clients of the company are organizations such as Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, MasterCard & MasterCard Foundation, International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank, Asia Development Bank, 7 of the 10 largest microfinance networks in the world, Allianz Bank Bulgaria, Atlantic Bank, Bank South Pacific, Asia Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU), etc.
