The Minister of Economy Bozhidar Lukarski visited the International Trade Fair "Natural and Organic Products Europe 2016", which took place in London for the twentieth consecutive year between 17 and 19 April. The exhibition presented the latest trends in the world of natural organic products - from natural health products, natural and organic foods to natural personal care products and eco household products.

This year 12 Bulgarian companies - producers of organic foods, essential oils and cosmetic products participated on the Bulgarian national stand: the producers of organic foods, drinks and supplements "Internet cafe - BG" Ltd., Laktima EAD, Bioex OOD, Agaricus BG EOOD and Biostail OOD; the manufacturer of preventive and cosmetic products and personal hygiene means Bilka Lifestyle OOD; the company Ecomaat EOOD, specialized in the production of oil-bearing plants; manufacturers of essential oils and aromatic oils Intermed 1 EOOD, Ikarov EOOD and Kateko OOD; the company Refan Bulgaria OOD, specialized in the production of perfumery and cosmetics and Super Foods OOD, which operates in the production, distribution and retail and wholesale with foods and beverages.

Some of the most interesting products, presented by the Bulgarian companies included extract from Haberlea rhodopensis - a plant that has the ability to revive, regenerating cream from snails, organic ayran and sweets with Morus alba and chocolate. Bulgarian exhibitors shared that there was great interest in Bulgarian products and the reviews from their participation were extremely positive.
