Musicians from the region will be the highlight of the so-called Brick Roads Sofia Music Festival that is to take place for the third time in Sofia, Bulgaria, in October.
The event will take place on October 07-08, starting at 19:00.
On the first day, two jazz trios, one from Greece and one from three places (Crimea, Turkmenistan and Bulgaria) will play at the Bulgarian National Army theater in the city's central area.
The Shin, a band from Georgia, will perform on the next day, followed by another trio featuring Theodosii Spassov (Bulgaria), Vlatko Stefanovski (Macedonia) and Mino Cinelu (France).
Tickets (sold separately for October 07 and October 08 and at a price of BGN 15, 20 or 25 each) are available either at the Bulgarian National Army Theater or via ticketpro.
The festival's original name in Bulgarian can be roughly translated as "Festival on the Yellow Pavement". The latter was a gift to Bulgaria from Austro-Hungary in the early 20th century and still covers a major thoroughfare in the downtown area, next to the Parliament building and not far from the venue of the festival.
