Plovdiv and Matera are amongst the candidates for the European Prize for Urban Public Space 2018. 

Plovdiv is in the run with Kapana Creative District and Matera with the design for their Origagri Pavilion. The results will be announced in June chosen amongst the 279 submissions from 32 countries /including other European Capitals of Culture/.
