The third month of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU started with the ASEM CMM8 meeting which gathered culture ministers from Europe and Asia in Sofia. We celebrated 1 March with traditional Bulgarian handcrafted martenitsa and introduced our amazing volunteers. Later finance ministers and experts from the EU attended the high-level conference on the next Multiannual Financial Framework. The month ended with another high-level conference - on the European Public Prosecutor's Office. Another March highlight was the EU-Turkey Leaders' Meeting in Varna.
