According to the National Statistical Institute flash estimates, seasonally adjusted GDP increased by 3.4% yoy during the fourth quarter of 2016 driven by both final consumption and net export. Consumption rose by 0.9%, while the export growth reached 9.1% and thus outperformed the increase in import (7.8%). At the same time, gross fixed capital for-mation continued on the decline, down by 1.5%.
